Introduction

Welcome to Orion Manager ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use our service at orionmanager.com.

By using Orion Manager, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the service.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the service:

  • Plan & Payment Data: When you select a plan, we store your selected plan type locally in your browser (localStorage). Payment processing is handled entirely by Paystack — we never see or store your card details.
  • Contact Information: If you fill out a user registration form within the app, the data (name, email, phone) is stored locally in your browser only and is not transmitted to our servers.
  • Usage Data: We may collect anonymised analytics data (page views, feature usage) to improve the service. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.
  • Google OAuth Token: When you authorise Orion to access your Google account, we receive a temporary OAuth token from Google. This token is used solely to perform the deletion actions you request and is never stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process your selected plan and unlock the corresponding features
  • To perform Google activity deletions on your behalf when authorised
  • To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries
  • To improve our service through anonymised analytics
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Retention

Orion Manager is primarily a client-side application. Most data (selected plan, form entries) is stored in your browser's localStorage and never leaves your device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

OAuth tokens used for Google operations are transient — they are used to perform the requested action in real time and are immediately discarded. We retain no logs of which data you deleted.

Third-Party Services

  • Paystack — handles all payment processing. Their privacy policy governs data collected during payment. Visit paystack.com/privacy.
  • Google APIs — used to perform activity deletions. Google's privacy policy applies to OAuth and API interactions. Visit policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Font Awesome (CDN) — used to serve icons. Standard CDN request metadata (IP, browser) may be logged by their servers.

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Erasure: Request that we delete your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to Object: Object to our processing of your data.
  • Right to Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • CCPA Rights: California residents may opt out of the "sale" of personal data — we do not sell personal data.

Since most data is stored only in your browser, you can exercise many of these rights directly by clearing your browser's localStorage. For any other requests, contact us at the address below.

Cookies

Orion Manager does not use tracking cookies. We use localStorage (not cookies) for session persistence. Third-party services (Paystack, Font Awesome CDN) may set their own cookies subject to their respective policies.

Children's Privacy

Orion Manager is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
